PROJECT OVERVIEW

The homes within these communities belong to families, seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, and victims of disasters. Quiddity is proud to act as a neighbor to these communities and lend a helping hand to those in need. Over the span of two months, our team gathered 61 volunteers from across the state and donated $25,000. Volunteers gathered at three different locations across four Saturdays to help with needed repairs!

SERVICE DETAILS

In North Texas, a resident who suffered from bad knees resided in the Second Ward and struggled to get around in her home. Her mother is wheelchair-bound and had been unable to visit due to lack of a ramp entry to her home. Thanks to our generous donors and along with qualified contractors, we were able to make the following repairs at no cost to the homeowner:

  • Installation of grab bars
  • Tub replacement with a low curb shower
  • Repaired siding

Our staff volunteers installed a wheelchair ramp near the entry of her home. Her mother could finally visit.
